The Kulasekarapattinam Spaceport in Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu, India is the second spaceport of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), designed to allow their Small Satellite launch Vehicle (SSLV) to launch towards polar orbits without the need for a dogleg maneuver to avoid Sri Lanka.
